What can we say about Gloria Perry!
A dear friend of St Theresa’s but also somebody who brought the artist alive within each of us.
Unfortunately, Gloria has called it a day in coming into St Theresa’s to teach art lessons to each of our classes from P4-7, but is hopefully continuing projects such as the Grandparents Intergenerational Art.
Gloria always had such high expectations of the children and rightly so because they delivered master pieces of work. The children appreciated her mentoring and the teachers loved to hear when their class had Art with Gloria Perry.
Gloria thank you for the experiences you give our children over at least the last 10 years. One of the highlights was during Covid when you were teaching LIVE Art lessons online via Teams and parents were also tuning in doing the Art. How rewarding! You usually had 100% of pupils attending virtually and they were lovin’ it.
Gloria, we thank you for your contribution to Art in St Theresa’s. It is greatly missed by all but not only that but the encouragement, sincerity and presence you brought. We look forward to seeing you again and you always are welcome to call at any time at St Theresa’s.
